Kensie was born in Price, Utah. She moved to Cedar City when she was 11 to live with her grandma and has been here ever since. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids going on horse rides, camping, fishing, hunting, and watching football (Fly Eagles Fly).
Kensie graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Life and Human Development and a minor in Psychology.
Kensie has worked with children and teenagers, who come from a variety of different backgrounds, at DCFS and in a Residential Treatment Center. All have experienced various types of trauma and struggle to find the best versions of themselves. She has dedicated her life to helping teenagers overcome any obstacles that keeps them from being the best person they can be. Kensie is determined to be a positive role model for teens who have experienced trauma because of her own life experiences. She has a passion for helping youth find their talents and strengths, and helping them believe in themselves.
